The sand-drilling rod machine Qingdao Amada is designed for automated production of sand-resin rods both in hot and cold boxes. The machine is installed in the immediate vicinity of the molding line. The principle of operation: the detachable elements of the rod box are open in the initial position, they are closed using hydraulic actuators, the rod mixture with compressed air is blown into the rod box, then, depending on the technology, the box is heated due to electrical resistance (hot process), or a gaseous catalyst is passed through the box (cold process). The mixture solidifies in the working cavity of the box, forming a solid rod. After opening the box, the rod is removed using pushers.
